Birdy Bread
3 or 4 cups Corn Meal
2 cups whole wheat flour
1 cup chopped nuts (peanuts, walnuts, etc.)
1 cup wheatgerm
1 cup dried fruit/raisins
2 cups frozen mixed veggies
2 to 3 eggs with shells (sterilize eggs before use by boiling)
1 jar baby food
1 to 2 cups fresh chopped fruit
Handful fresh chopped herbs
Left over veggies or safe food in fridge (tomato pieces, chopped spinach, capsicum, broccoli, carrots, brown rice, pasta, etc.)
Chop everything up and mix together with enough V8 vegetable juice, fruit juice and milk to get a cake mixture consistency.
Bake in an oven pan at 180 C for about 30 mins.
This is enough for a good sized pan full which you can then freeze and use when needed.
